The Reno Tahoe Dealers School and Bartenders School has been in operation in Reno, Nevada since 1977. Our Philosophy/Mission is to train graduates for entry level and advancement within their chosen profession. We are licensed by the State of Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education and approved for the training of Veterans. VETERANS: All courses offered by the Reno Tahoe Job Training Academy are approved for the training of Veterans EXCEPT Professional Bartending. A program which includes Professional Bartending as part of it's curriculum will not be approved for the training of Veterans. General Admission Requirements: Candidates must be 21 years old by the date of their graduation. Although it is not a requirement. it is valuable to have a High School Diploma or GED. An interview is conducted to evaluate background, career goals and motivation. The school's programs, philosophy and procedures described on the Terms and Conditions page. Credit For Previous Training: You may receive credit for previous training by proof of such training or work experience. Credit is awarded at the discretion of the school director. Training time and tuition will be proportionally reduced. Class Size Student/Teacher Ratio: Classes are limited to 15 students per instructor. Graduation Certificates: Upon completion of a course or program the student will receive a CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION. We have designed Casino Dealing Level I, II and III for those who wish to have a career future in gaming. We discourage students from taking only one or two games as it is hard for us to place them into casino employment. The casinos' seek multi-game dealers. One game dealers are usually sent home early or can only work on-call / part-time. The School Observes The Following Holidays and Breaks:
